Sharing the Christmas Spirit

On Tuesday 11 December, a number of Mabbett staff took a few hours away from the office to volunteer at Glasgow City Mission and provide some welcome support to the charity. Team Mabbett assisted to unpack and sort through cans of tinned foods donated by local schools, churches and individuals which will provide much needed food parcels and nourishment to the homeless and those in poverty over the coming months.
During the visit, Team Mabbett also had the pleasure to meet, Graham Steven, Marketing and Fundraising Manager at Glasgow City Mission, who provided an insight into the work of Glasgow City Mission and to their integral role and work within the Glasgow community followed by a tour of the premises.
After the visit Graham thanked Team Mabbett for their efforts: “thank you for your help, to get through 7 pallets of tins in a matter of hours is fantastic. You’ve helped to facilitate something really practical today in enabling us to hand out food to those most in need.”
