Email Me Call MeGibdock achieves transition to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 with zero non-conformances at external audit.
Gibraltar dry dock ship maintenance and repair company Gibdock has always prioritised quality service. The sites’ optimal Mediterranean location is sensitive due to its proximity to residential areas means good environmental management is also a priority.
Transitioning quality and environmental management systems to 2015 standards, Gibdock sought consultancy help from Mabbett from gap analysis to implementation and training of staff. Photo: Team of freshly trained Internal ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015 Auditors.
Context review engaged the leadership team in a strategic workshop. Brexit outlooks and infection control from international shipping were some of the interesting risks and opportunities highlighted.
Improvements on quality included internal efficiency savings through streamlining and integrating processes. Positive environmental aspects of shipyard’s operations in maintaining shipping lifespan for Gibdock customers were highlighted.
