Derek travels to San Diego to collect award for International Expansion

Derek J. McNab, Managing Director of Mabbett travelled to San Diego last week to collect in person the Environmental Business Journal® Business Achievement Award for International Expansion. Derek was accompanied to the awards ceremony by Paul Steinberg, Senior Vice President of Mabbett’s sister firm, Mabbett, Inc. in Boston, USA. The award was presented during the Environmental Industry Summit XI held from 06-08 March in San Diego, a 3-day conference bringing together professionals from the environmental industry to network and discuss and debate the global challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in 2013 and beyond.
On receiving the award Derek commented, “Although the environmental industry still faces challenges in many segments, Mabbett has continued to grow our business through identifying and implementing new business services, embracing new techniques for our sector and growing our business internationally. I am extremely grateful for the continued support we have received from our clients, staff, Scottish Enterprise and other stakeholders to allow us to be recognised by our peers.
