NetRegs (www.netregs.org.uk) is an online service from the Scotland and Northern Ireland environmental regulators, providing guidance on environmental regulations and good practice for businesses in Scotland and Northern Ireland – in plain English, for free and anonymously.
Guidance covers a wide range of topics and business sectors. Its Guidance for Pollution Prevention series (GPPs) also covers Wales, alongside Northern Ireland and Scotland.
Amongst their online resources are case studies and videos highlighting environmental good practice, a self-assessment tool to check your business’s environmental compliance, short online courses, and a savings calculator to identify your business’s best energy, water and waste saving opportunities.
The website also contains a dedicated section on key current and future environmental legislation, both in Scotland and Northern Ireland, categorised by topic and listed by date of publication.
There is also a monthly newsletter, NetRegs Update, you can receive for free on your mailbox.
