Mabbett inspires 5th year students!

Mabbett had the privilege of assisting Trinity High School with their ‘Learn through Work Week’ by giving a presentation to two Higher Chemistry classes. Gordon Douglas, Environmental Scientist, talked about his knowledge and experience of using Chemistry in the workplace, and Suzanne Maclean, Business Development Executive, shared her experience of marketing and how that can be shaped to fit into all sectors.
The event was to help motivate, enthuse and inspire young people by offering them insight into the wide range of opportunities available to them after study at school.
This was Trinity High Schools first ‘Learn through Work Week’ and it was a great success – with several companies and organisations giving up their time to invest in the next generation of bright young minds.
The presentations were followed by questions and discussion. We hope our support to the ‘Learn through Work Week’ was of interest to the students and will have an impact on their current mind-set and their future choices.
