21st August 2013
Mabbett is delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Glasgow Business Awards 2013 under the category: Best Performing Business (11-50 employees).
Now more than ever, companies need to adapt to survive, so it is important that SMEs have a clear focus on growth, success and sustainability. This award category: Best Performing Business (11-50 employees), is intended to highlight successful small businesses with 11-50 employees. Entrants should be able to demonstrate a clearly defined strategy for developing and growing their business in terms of turnover, employment, innovative marketing and communications.
On announcing this news to our staff Derek, Managing Director, of Mabbett commented, “As a Glasgow headquartered firm serving many Glasgow based businesses and managed by graduates and post-graduates from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow; Mabbett are extremely delighted to have been shortlisted as a finalist in the prestigious Glasgow Business Awards 2013 under the category: Best Performing Business (11-50 employees). I am personally delighted that our staff achievements in 2013, which include: an Environmental Business Journal Award for International Expansion and Mabbett being retained as a member of the winning consortium awarded the £3M contract to deliver the Resource Efficient Scotland Programme in Scotland, have been recognised by Glasgow Chamber of Commerce in shortlisting Mabbett for this prominent business award. The staff at Mabbett have much to be proud of!’”
