Mabbett Launch New Integrated Planning and Construction Environment Team!

Mabbett was founded in 1996, and during the last 24 years has built a solid reputation in Scotland and across the U.K. for delivery, design and implementation of safety, environment and engineering solutions to enable our clients to control carbon and industrial emissions, reduce impacts on human health and pollution prevention, reduce risk and costs.

Through the ambition of the management team to grow and diversify our service portfolio, in order to meet our clients requirements, the firm embarked on a programme to develop an in-house and integrated Planning and Construction Environment Team in 2015. Over the past 5-years, we have sought out some of the best experienced and upcoming talent in Scotland and the U.K. and we are now proud to launch our in-house Planning and Construction Environment Team!

Mabbett now offers to our clients a very unique blend of skills, from landscape architecture, planning, ecology, construction environment to sustainability, management systems design, engineering, systems design and safety (occupational and process).

Our in-house capability within our Planning and Construction Environment Team now includes: environmental planning and EIA, landscape and visual impact assessments, 3D graphics and visualisation, hydrology, ecology, ornithology, contaminated land, flood risk and drainage, noise impact, odour impact, air quality and modelling, environmental clerk of works/ecological clerk of works and environment manager.

The enhanced development of these new in-house Planning and Construction Environment capabilities has allowed us to expand our portfolio of clients into development and construction for the energy sector including transmission and renewables, as well as housing, manufacturing, and commercial. Developing new B2B relationships with planning consultancies, surveyors, architectural firms, renewable energy developers, and other specialist consultancies and contractors.  And, for existing clients in the manufacturing and engineering sector Mabbett now offer a ‘complete solution’ for clients pursuing renewable and low carbon energy developments, including ground-mounted solar, onshore wind, battery storage and combined heat and power.
