The client had acquired an old school building to refit as a spirits distillery. Mabbett were commissioned to provide process engineering and process safety consultancy.

Understanding that this project was the first of its kind for the client, from the outset we developed a strong partnership and working relationship providing consultancy from initial design through to commissioning.

The project commenced with a review of design information to produce P&IDs and equipment specifications for the distillery. With our inhouse process safety engineers carrying out a HAZOP on the process design.

We identified and sourced suppliers of equipment. Site visits were undertaken to oversee installation of equipment and commissioning of the distillery.
