Staff Training Day November 2017

Twice a year, staff from all Mabbett offices attend a Mabbett Training Day (MTD) organised by the company, where the aim is to come together to share team updates, discuss ideas, and build relationships.
On Friday, 17 November, all staff met for MTD XII in the elegant setting of Club 29 at Royal Exchange Square to hear presentations from each of our teams, including an informative and encouraging talk from chairman Arthur Mabbett on overcoming challenges and looking towards the future.
Halfway through the day, staff stopped for an enchanting lunch served in Club 29’s rooftop marquee – with a surprise visit from a magician! The afternoon’s activities included a series of short, helpful refresher talks by the Health & Safety team, which served as an important reminder of good health & safety practices both in the office and when out working on site. The day ended with one of our usual (and competitive!) Mabbett team quizzes, followed by a delicious meal at Greek restaurant Elia, located on George Square.
