Following 19 years of meritorious service as a Major, Environmental Sciences Officer in the U.S. Army, our founder Arthur N. Mabbett incorporates Mabbett Inc in the USA.
Building on his success in the USA Arthur looks to opportunity in Europe, and in 1996 Glasgow welcomes Mabbett Ltd to the U.K.
Geraldine Boylan (now Director, Environment, Quality and Training) joins.
Derek J. McNab (now Managing Director) joins.
We acquire Carbrae Ltd, bringing Andy Lee (now Director, Operations) into the team.
Constructionline
Michael Lynch (now Director, Engineering) joins.
We obtain the first of our ISO registered management systems, ISO 9001 quality. This was followed by ISO 14001 Environmental (2010) and BS OHSAS 18001 Health and safety (2015).
We purchase an 1850 Victorian, B-listed townhouse and embarked on an extensive refurbishment project to modernise and restore the building. In 2008 we relocate to our new home, our low carbon award nominated Glasgow HQ.

The whole team travel to the Isle of Arran for a weekend to celebrate 20 successful years in business.
We acquire Jig Environment, boosting our offering on Waste-Water, SUDS, Flooding & Sewage.
We win the Export Scottish Business Award at the Causeway, Ireland Scotland Business Exchange Awards 2019.
Environmental Business International present us with the Climate Change Business Journal Business Achievement Award for Low-Carbon Energy consulting.
We celebrate 25 years in business on 15 February 2021.

We migrated from OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001 and retained NQA third party certification of our Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS).
We acquire GH Johnston Building Consultants Ltd.
We acquire the assets of Nevis Environmental Ltd.
We welcome Erwan Prot as Director - Safety.
We acquire GEP Environmental Ltd.
Centre for Engineering, Education and Development (CeeD) Woman in Industry Award awarded to 'Geraldine Boylan and the Mabbett Women in STEM Working Group.'
GH Johnston fully integrate into Mabbett as our new Planning & Design Group headed up by Kenny Shand.
